The new Ford Maverick lineup gets an impressive update this year. The Maverick now comes with a turbocharged engine standard, with a hybrid powertrain available on higher trim levels, allowing you to enjoy more horsepower, torque, and towing ability.

Performance

The new Ford Maverick lineup features two impressive engine options. The standard engine is a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder that creates 250-horsepower and 277 pounds-feet of torque, resulting in a strong and engaging driving experience whenever you get behind the wheel. The engine is paired to an eight-speed automatic transmission that smoothly and responsively changes gears to keep your ride comfortable. Front-wheel drive comes standard, but all-wheel drive is available in the lineup for better traction and control.

There's also the available 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that's paired with electric engines to produce 191-horsepower and 155 pounds-feet of torque, while also delivering higher fuel economy to help you save on your travels. The hybrid engine is paired with a continuously variable automatic transmission and only comes with front-wheel drive.

The Ford Maverick also has your towing needs covered with up to 4,000 pounds of maximum towing capacity. You can also carry up to 1,500 pounds of payload capacity.

Exterior

The Ford Maverick has a sleek exterior style that helps it standout among other compact trucks. With 9.4-inches of ground clearance, you can travel over obstacles, but it's low load-in/load-out height makes it easy to get your gear and materials in and out of the 4.5-foot truck bed.
